General information

Minh Hoa is a mountainous district located in the Northwest of Quang Binh province. It is the district with many potentials and strengths. The district has International Border gate Chalo – Na Phau, important traffic roads passing through, for example, Ho Chi Minh Road running through the whole length of the district and National Highway 12C being the shortest route connecting Northeast Thailand provinces through Lao PDR to National Highway 1A and Hon La seaport (Quang Binh province) and Vung Ang seaport (Ha Tinh province). Besides, Minh Hoa district also has various historical sites including Da Deo pass, Mu Da pass, Ngam Rinh, Khe Ve, Chalo, Sky gate, etc.
