General information

Bo Trach district is located in the middle of Quang Binh province having important routes running through including Ho Chi Minh road, National Highway 1A, North - South railway and provincial roads making the traffic system quite complete. Additionally, the district has Ca Roong – Noong Ma border gate (Vietnam – Lao), Gianh port, World natural heritage site Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. The coastline has the length of 24km with tourist attractions and services alongside, i.e Da Nhay beach
Administrative borders: The geographical coordinates of the mainland are:
• Adjacent to Tuyen Hoa district and Bo Dong township to the North
• Adjacent to Quang Ninh district and Dong Hoi city to the South
• Adjacent to Lao PDR and Tuyen Hoa district to the West
